Dreaming of a Rose Covered Cottage

I found a piece of burlap canvas at Hobby Lobby and loved the way it makes the roses look so soft.  It is always fun to experiment with new mediums.
The wreath is one of my favorite airy grapevine type wreaths.  It has a sturdy wire frame behind it.  The R letter complements the wreath.

I also found sweet wooden letters and painted roses on it to complete the design of the wreath.

The canvas was painted on the diagonal and then attached to the wreath.  Just a little bit different look than sitting on it squarely.

This has been a fun project to complete.

Loving color like I do I thought the tray with the mix looked rather interesting with the wreath.

Here is a close up of the rose Cottage painting.

Having fun playing in the paint at Rose Cottage AKA Quaker Hill Farm!  Blessings and being thankful today!  Lynn
